Ryan McCormack - Head Coach 2012 Gold
Founder/Executive Director
Ryan McCormack grew up playing for one of the top youth clubs in the country in Southern California.  Ryan has been a youth coach at competitive levels for almost 17 years serving Arizona, Northern California, and Oregon. He currently serves as the Head Varsity Coach for Canby High School's Men's Soccer Program.  Under his leadership, the program has qualified for the OSAA playoffs twice for the first time since 2012, and had it's first 9-win season since 1997.  Prior to Canby High School, Ryan led KIPP San Jose Collegiate to their first league title in any Varsity sport, winning two coach of the year awards in soccer and one in cross country.  In 2019, Ryan was recognized by the Central Coast Section Athletic Directors Association with the Norm Mackenzie Rookie Athletic Director of the Year award.  Ryan currently holds an USSF C License.

Ryan McCormack creció jugando en uno de los mejores clubes juveniles del país, en el sur de California.  Ryan ha sido entrenador juvenil a nivel competitivo durante casi 17 años en Arizona, el norte de California y Oregón. Actualmente es el entrenador principal del programa de fútbol masculino de la escuela secundaria Canby High School.  Bajo su liderazgo, el programa se ha clasificado dos veces para los playoffs de la OSAA por primera vez desde 2012 y ha conseguido su primera temporada con 9 victorias desde 1997. Antes de llegar al instituto Canby High School, Ryan llevó al KIPP San Jose Collegiate a su primer título de liga en cualquier deporte universitario, ganando dos premios al entrenador del año en fútbol y uno en campo a través.  En 2019, Ryan fue reconocido por la Asociación de Directores Deportivos de la Sección de la Costa Central con el premio Norm Mackenzie al Director Deportivo Novato del Año.  Ryan posee actualmente la licencia C de la USSF.




Andrew Becerra - Head Coach 2008 Gold
Coach
Andrew Becerra grew up playing around high level soccer clubs in Southern California. He played competitively on the Chivas USA Academy Team during the years 2005-2007. Andrew has been coaching at the high school level for 11 years and coached at Southwestern Community College for 2 years. While coaching alongside head coach, Bradley Williams during the 2018/19 season, he was awarded Coach of the Year. Additionally, it was the first time the Southwestern Men's Soccer program won their first league title. During Andrew’s 10 year span of coaching at Newport High School, the coaching staff received several Coach of the Year awards. Another great achievement was winning the OSAA Men’s Soccer 4A State Title in 2023 while coaching the Newport Cubs. Andrew’s first year coaching at Canby High School alongside head coach, Dallas Hill, was successful as well. She won the 5A Coach of the Year award and their team won the Northwest Oregon Conference League Title. Andrew played high school soccer and one year of collegiate soccer at Southwestern Oregon. 

Andrew Becerra creció jugando en clubes de fútbol de alto nivel en el sur de California. Él fue parte del Equipo Chivas USA Academy del 2005 al 2007 en donde participó a nivel competitivo. Andrew fue entrenador en Southwestern Community College por 2 años y lleva 11 años como entrenador en escuelas preparatorias. Junto con el entrenador Bradley Williams, durante la temporada del 2018/19,  recibió el Premio de Entrenador del Año.  Está también fue la primera vez que el programa de fútbol masculino de Southwestern ganó su primer título de liga. Durante los 10 años que Andrew fue entrenador en la Escuela Preparatoria de Newport, el grupo de entrenadores recibió varios Premios de Entrenador del Año. Otro gran logro fue ganar el Título Estatal 4A de Futbol Masculino de la OSAA en el 2023 cuando entrenaba a los Newport Cubs. El primer año de Andrew como entrenador junto con Dallas Hill en la Escuela Preparatoria de Canby también fue exitoso. Dallas ganó el Premio de Entrenadora del Año 5A y nuestro equipo ganó el Título de la Liga de la Conferencia del Noroeste de Oregon. Andrew jugó fútbol en la escuela preparatoria y también un año de fútbol universitario en Southwestern Oregon. 



Noe Rodriguez - Goalkeepers Coach
Coach
Noe Rodriguez grew up in Canby and graduated from Canby High School in 2019. Once graduated he then attended Portland Community College and later transferred to Warner Pacific University.  Noe played in goal at both PCC and WPU schools earning himself various honors including NWAC All-Star team, and other player of the week awards. Along with this he also has Semi-pro experience playing with Cascadia United in the UPSL. Noe has been an assistant coach at Canby High School for 3 years now, currently serving as the CHS Boys GK Coach and Assistant JV Coach.   As a goalkeeper coach, Noe has produced many award winning goalkeepers. At the club level Noe, has coached at Albion Soccer Club where he worked with kids of all ages to continue their soccer development.   Noe is currently working on getting his D level license. 

Entrenador
Noe Rodríguez creció en Canby y se graduó de Canby High School en 2019. Una vez graduado, luego asistió a Portland Community College y más tarde se transfirió a Warner Pacific University.  Noe jugó en la portería en ambas escuelas PCC y WPU ganándose varios honores incluyendo el equipo NWAC All-Star, y otros premios de jugador de la semana. Junto con esto también tiene experiencia Semi-profesional jugando con Cascadia United en la UPSL. Noe ha sido entrenador asistente en Canby High School durante 3 años, actualmente sirve como CHS Boys GK Coach y Assistant JV Coach.   Como entrenador de porteros, Noe ha producido muchos porteros ganadores de premios. A nivel de club Noe, ha entrenado en Albion Soccer Club, donde trabajó con niños de todas las edades para continuar su desarrollo del fútbol.   Noe está trabajando actualmente en conseguir su licencia de nivel D. 




 Alex Frixione - 2011 Gold Head Coach

Alex Frixione has been working as an JV, JV2 or assistant coach at the high school level since 2005, both on the women's and men’s sides. At the competitive club level, he has coached a variety of age groups, ranging from U10 to U14. He has coached or assisted in coaching  recreational teams from U8 up. Alex has also coached for several years for a local multicultural league for high school aged students.   Alex currently serves at the Varsity Assistant Coach for CHS, where he helped lead the team in 2025 to their most wins since 1999 and two playoff appearances in 2024 and 2025.  He is also the teaches Advance English Language Development at CHS.

Entrenador
Alex Frixione ha trabajado como entrenador de JV, JV2 o asistente en institutos desde 2005, tanto en equipos femeninos como masculinos. A nivel de clubes competitivos, ha entrenado a equipos de diferentes edades, desde sub-10 hasta sub-14. Ha entrenado o ayudado a entrenar equipos recreativos desde sub-8 en adelante. Alex también ha entrenado durante varios años en una liga multicultural local para estudiantes de secundaria.   Actualmente, Alex es entrenador asistente del equipo universitario de CHS, donde ayudó a llevar al equipo en 2025 a su mayor número de victorias desde 1999 y a dos apariciones en los playoffs en 2024 y 2025.  También imparte clases de desarrollo avanzado del idioma inglés en CHS.


David Bernal-López - Assistant Coach 2011 Gold
Coach
David Bernal has lived in Oregon his whole life. David grew up playing soccer in canby with all his friend's, getting the chance to play all 4 year’s in high school. His senior year he received a few recognitions, including athlete of the week, and all-three Rivers honorable mention. He faced a lot of injuries playing soccer, which led him into becoming a coach. David has been a youth coach at the competitive level for about 3 year’s. He is currently serving as an assistant coach for Canby High School’s Girl’s Soccer Program. 

Entrenador
David Bernal ha vivido en Oregón toda su vida. David creció jugando al fútbol en Canby con todos sus amigos, y tuvo la oportunidad de jugar durante los cuatro años de instituto. En su último año recibió varios reconocimientos, entre ellos el de deportista de la semana y una mención honorífica en All-Three Rivers. Sufrió muchas lesiones jugando al fútbol, lo que le llevó a convertirse en entrenador. David ha sido entrenador juvenil a nivel competitivo durante unos tres años. Actualmente es entrenador asistente del programa de fútbol femenino de la escuela secundaria Canby High School.
